
YOUTH SERVICES
Nezul Be Hunuyeh Child & Family Services Society Youth Team provides cultural and holistic supports services to youth and young adults ages 12 through 27 who belong to the communities of Tl’azt’en Nation, Nak’azdli Whut’en, and Binche Whut’en. These supports and services include group programming and one-on-one sessions with an overall goal of increasing stability, the development of life skills, and a strong and supported transition from childhood to adulthood. Youth and Young adults can self-refer or be referred by a parent/guardian or community professionals, school, and membered Nations.
The Youth Services building is located on the Nak'azdli Whut'en territory where weekly group sessions are held afterschool with the Youth Outreach Workers as well as one-one-one sessions.
One-on-one support may include:
- Assist with education
- Transportation
- Support with family and caregivers
- Budgeting
- Weekly groups sessions
